11:33 am - I thought I'd go completely blogless today...

Since I'm boycotting LJ and all. This worked fine last night. I actually finished chapter four of my original baseball smut. All was cool, too, this morning. I spent the time I'd normally be reading LJ reading an actual BOOK. But then, I got to work. Managed for about an hour, and then thought: hey, I could always go on Insane Journal. *g*
So much for my bloglessness!
If I am going to hang out on IJ today, it seems only right to post aome smut. So here's an excerpt from my baseball thing. To sum up, there's a grumpy older pitcher and the young puppy of a catcher called up from the minors to work with him. This is their firt kiss.

5:33 pm - The sad dearth of truly porny Torchwood stories

Since I've been watching Dr. Who eps (happily! oh, so happily!), it's brought Torchwood back to mind, and I've got a serious hankering for some dirty, dirty, porntastic Jack/Ianto. Or honestly, anybodyonTorchwood/anybodyonTorchwood as long as it's seriously hot. But sadly, there seems to be no real Torchwood porn. Or at least, very little. Which really is a shame, because when have characters ever cried out for it more? I mean, Jack Harkness IS porn. I continue my search, but I am not very optimistic.
In the meantime, I'm nursing a little Torchwood scenario in my head, cobbled together with pieces from other shows or stories I've read or what have you. The scenario starts out with Ianto feeling like ( slightly spoilery for the first season )
I just...want porn!!

Note: I was in the mood to write something dirty, and the lovely folks on my friendslist helped me out with suggestions, and I'm going to write as many of them as I can in a smutty celebration of my birthday, even though…it's already passed. Hey, it's still my birthday month! *g*
Summary: Those wacky botanists and their wacky experiments…oh, the unforeseen side effects! This was written for notpoetry who said, John & Rodney…and sex pollen in a greenhouse on Atlantis. I did pile on the characters--you know, just a little. :)
Warning: This could be one of those stories that doesn't seem to need a warning to me, but does to other people. If you're really very sensitive about issues of consent, maybe this isn't for you?

4:54 pm - Birthday redux: pimpin' and thank yous

I had a fabulous birthday, in no small part because of my friends on LJ. You guys are the best! I have some pimpin' and some thank yous to offer.
1. The wonderful, wonderful alizarin_nyc wrote me a hot, hot, oh boy, HOT SGA story, Special Favors. alizarin_nyc asked me what I'd like, and I said something sexy with Teyla and whoever, and, hey, if there was a strap on, that would be good, too. And...she wrote it for me! And put Rodney in it! Because...she knows me well! *g* Go, read, share in the joy of my fabulous present.
2. Thank you again to hackthis for my Nathan/Peter story, wherever you go, the earth just opens up, which is hot, hot, and ooooooh, did I mention there's amnesia??? I was a VERY lucky birthday gal this year.
3. Kisses to tvm, oxoniensis, and burntsm0re for the cupcake, party hat and noisemaker on my user info page. When I found the notices in my email on the morning of my birthday, I was all: Awwwwwwwwwwwww!
4. Hugs to everyone who emailed me or sent a card or left a comment or posted a birthday wish on their LJ. I felt very loved!
